Sketch Frenzy Friday, Warm Sheltering Tree

It's been so warm and sunny this week,
so I made this card to reflect my mood!
Even the sketch Carol made is sunny and happy!
Thanks, Carol Read, for today's sketch:
Here's my card:

I had seen a card recently that had the sun's rays embossed on it.
When I pulled out my Sheltering Tree stamp set, I immediately thought of that card.
I used the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate to emboss, mostly to make a straight line.

Here's a side view:

Supplies:
Stamps - Sheltering Tree
Cardstock - pistachio pudding, garden green, daffodil delight,  whispering white,
Gold Soiree DSP
Ink - pistachio pudding, garden green, baked brown sugar, early espresso, daffodil delight
Accessories - Simply scored diagonal plate, Brights candy dots

Make some time in your sunshiny day to try our sketch.  Add it to the bottom of the post on the Sketch Frenzy Friday blog.
Thanks for checking out my blog!

Sketch Frenzy Friday, Thinking of You Envelopes

Good morning!
This week's sketch is from Patrice:

On my card I used the photopolymer stamp set Lovely Amazing You.

Here's another look at the Gold Soiree DSP:

The DSP is so shiny I had to emboss my sentiment, instead of just stamping it.

Supplies:
Stamps - Lovely Amazing You, Sheltering Tree
Cardstock - Pistachio Pudding, Baked Brown Sugar, Whisper White;  Gold Soiree DSP
Ink - Baked Brown Sugar, Soft Suede, Versamark
Accessories - Espresso embossing powder, dimensionals

Join us at the Sketch Frenzy Friday blog by adding your take on this sketch at the bottom of the post.
 Have a great day!

you are enjoying seeing Sketch Frenzy Friday's posts.
I believe today's sketch is from Kim Innis.
Thanks for the sketch challenge, Kim!

Well, my Just Kidding stamp set came in the mail, so I promptly used for this card.

I didn't feel like coloring the image, so I tried to get alot of color elsewhere.
Maybe too much on that background?
I love the funny sentiments in this stamp set.
Inside:

Sketch Frenzy Friday, Renew

I've added my post today to the SFF blog using the InLinkz,
and you can add yours too!
Sketch for today:
Thanks to Jennifer Kay!

My Easter card:
Indescribable Gift stamp set is from the Occasions Catalog.
Apparently I am "oval layering impaired" as much as I am "straight line impaired!
I love the look of the embossed image on the vellum.  It makes it more elegant.
I used the Word Bubbles framelits for the sentiment, but snipped off the bottom piece.
I probably could have used Blendabilities markers to color the back of the vellum, but the regular Stampin' Write markers work well.  It doesn't dry right away, so I can swipe with my finger to remove my mistakes. Lol!

 Supplies:
Stamps - Indescribable Gift
Cardstock - Early Espresso, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Cardstock vellum
Inks - Early Espresso, White craft;  Espresso, Blushing, Pear markers
Accessories - White embossing powder, oval and word bubbles framelits, Lovely Lace embossing folder, itty bitty accents punch pack

I hope and pray your Easter is a blessed one!
I hope you will take on our SFF sketch challenge, and add it to our SFF blog.
