Missing Mandy's Hair

I am so missing Mandy's long hair.  It was so beautiful, long layered.  This is what it looked like before the first surgery.  Pretty, huh?
This is a close up of the tumors from the middle of the crown to the red dots on her forehead.

This is the latest in "Wound Vac fashion!"
Hmm, what will it look like next week?  I am anxious to see.  Then when her hair grows back we will do a "comb over" look.  Lol.
Have a blessed day!

Jewelry Box CASE

I took apart this cute little jewelry box, so I could figure out how to make one.  Lots of scoring, but it did come out very cute.  I used the Elements of Style stamp set to decorate the outside.  This was for an Anything But a Card Swap with VC Rocks yahoo group.
Now all I have to do is figure out how to make jewelry!

Hidden Journaling Scrapbook pages 2

Here is the other 6 x 6 page I made for last year's swap.  Below you see the 12 x 12 page I made with it. Also the tab holds the place for the hidden journaling.  The title on this page and the tag from yesterday's page were from one of the many scrapbooking swaps I have been in these past few years.  I will be showing you many of the other items from these swaps.  Let me know if you are interested in joining one of these swaps.

Hidden Journaling Scrapbook pages

I made the 6 x 6 scrapbook page below for a swap last year.  Here I show you how I turned it into a 12 x12 scrapbook page of my sweet little ones swinging.  I used the hidden journaling spot for another picture of Danielle.  Some days I wish Danielle and Michael were that little again, then I realize I would have to go through the teenage years again.  So I am pretty happy about their ages now!

Starting on My Book of Me

Actually, this is my page from Mom's & Dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary Album.  And now it's my first page in My Book of Me!  Look how cute I was!  Even then I was a little big - old time baby carrier.  That's me playing the accordian, sitting in the rocker with my sister, Andie.  Sisters, Ellen and Paula are on the floor.  I can't believe they actually let me have a turn with the accordian.  In the bottom family photo, this is as big as my hair could get in the 90's.  (Oh, I miss my little ones!)  I am the 7th child of 9, the 5th daughter of 6, the mother of only 3.

Entertaining Enough!

This is what it feels like to be a Berzas on Christmas Eve. (Berzas=Cajun maiden name)  Too much chocolate!  Too much boudin from T-Boy's!  And too much beer!  Oh, and a great holiday pimp hat.

First Post!

Well, actually it's my second, but you know what I mean...  Here's me in 1976.  If this actually made it to the blog, I am proud of me.  Lol
